These are my favorite neighbors! Calvin, Valerie, and Spencer are adorable kids and super nice. Calvin is an adventurous soul--never a dull moment when you have a little boy... or two! We love having this fun family next door to us, such cute, fun, and polite kids and friendly parents.
I did this fall portrait shoot with the Curns family from Portland, Oregon last weekend. Baby Bodhi is 10 months old and has been walking already for a month! He's keeping all the other babies on their toes... so to speak. I love the way their portraits came out and I did a nice clean edit on them for a crisp, clean, fresh quality to the session. I loved doing these pictures in Laurelhurst Park and will definitely use that location again and again--it is so versatile and beautiful! I had the pleasure of photographing three generations a couple weeks ago: Dying over the grandma pic and the moms! I would love a photo like that of my son, my niece, and their grandma, but they in Los Angeles and Pittsburgh, and I'm in Portland! Someday... Jessica & James were recently married in Cannon Beach, and I did their wedding portraits as well. Weddings aren't usually my thing, but this was more like a portrait since there weren't guests to photograph, and I would gladly do an elopement again... it was so fun!
