October 2016 Mini Sessions at Powder Blue Photography | Pittsburgh Family Photographer

Fall is the best time of the year for a Pittsburgh family photographer!  I reconnect with some of my favorite people and get so much gorgeous family portrait work done in such a small period of time! We lucked out (for the 4th year in a row) with amazing weather–60-70 (!!) degrees and sunny both days.  The following sessions are from my South Hills date:

I offer the fall family minis in Pittsburgh every year, but I only do other mini sessions and events on a random basis.  To be the first to hear about these types of events, sign up for my email list!  I have some special ideas in mind for 2017–mostly involving cool and fun photography techniques since I do not do prop-themed shoots.  (Have you seen the portraits I did for Point Breeze Light Up Night?)  I have some other exciting business developments coming in early spring, so keep checking that email for news from me!

Newborn Baby Oliver

Welcome adorable baby Oliver!  This sweet baby boy was born in September and joins big sister Helena.

I love this little guy’s nursery, the rug reminds me a lot of Baby Andrew‘s cute rug from a summer newborn photo session that I loved!

You would be surprised at the best locations for family portraits in a home!  This hallway had beautiful directional window lighting and a simple background.
