This week I am celebrating ONE WHOLE YEAR of running my photography business in Pittsburgh! Those of you who don't know me well, here's a little background... my family and I moved to Pittsburgh from Portland, OR in 2012 to be closer to family, since we had a then 1 1/2 yr old son, and our daughter Mimi was about to be born.  I took some time off to find our Mt. Lebanon home and to be with my baby girl but then was back up and running a little over a year ago. Before we moved to Pittsburgh, I ran my business in Portland for several years, but I also worked in Portland as a public high school photography & fine art teacher.  Now I am running the biz full time and could not possibly be happier!  I have enjoyed great success and wonderful clients since moving here and am so very grateful for all of you. I have worked with the Kingston family twice now--once for holiday portraits back in December, and so I was thrilled when they contacted me to photograph their three-week-old baby, Max. Through the process of shooting and editing babies, I always fall in love with them!!  Always!  This little guy was flashing smiles at me, big ones, at only three weeks old.
