Pittsburgh Maternity Photographer | Rooftop Session | Downtown Pittsburgh

When you hear the word “rooftop,” what do you think of?  Well, romance — of course.  Think about Sleepless in Seattle, Dirty Dancing, LA Stories, ……  (For you parents out there who never get to watch grown-up movies:  Ratatouille, The Muppet Movie and Kung Fu Panda.)

So, yes, rooftops equal romance.  Case in point:  Lexie and Ryan below.  The really delightful twist is that these very romantic pictures are of parents-to-be……and very soon.  Romance, love and having a baby–throw in a rooftop setting, and it gives me goosebumps.  I have the best job in the world!

This was a Mom-to-be who really knew what she wanted.  I love that!  Her neutral clothing choices and professionally-done make-up were beautiful.

Personally, I always think the family dog adds great personality to any shot.  This is Greta, who was a sweet and patient girl and a very good sport when it came to being photographed.

Lexie and Ryan, thank you so much for the opportunity to capture this very special moment in your lives.  And for reminding all of us that romance and childbirth go together like love and marriage (and a baby carriage!).
