Welcome Baby Emilia ("Mia")!  Lots of changes for this family... they moved to Pittsburgh and had a baby, all within the last several months. Baby Emilia is a beauty, just like mom!  She let us prop her up on her elbows for a super sweet newborn pose. Proud dad took some amazing portraits in between watching some b-ball during our session. :) You have to love this delightful series of facial expressions!  These often happen right as baby is drifting off to sleep, so I try to be ready!  The last one is one of my all-time faves for the outtakes. What a charming smile on this little 1-yr-old man who just celebrated his first birthday! Mom specifically requested a shot capturing details since her little baby is growing up ay too fast and she wants to remember all the special things about his babyhood. It was such a great pleasure meeting the Pratt family and getting to know them a little bit.  I'm crossing my fingers that they move over to Mt. Lebanon someday! Even despite our recent stressful car accident woes (negligent driver texting crossed center line and hit us head-on right here in our Mt. Sully came to see me to celebrate his recent first birthday.  I shot his family portrait at Schenley Park this past fall and was so pleased to see how much this sweet little man has grown.  This photo on the left is one of my favorites because you can see his little hand saying "I am 1!" Here we have the perfect grandparent photo, what an infections smile this kiddo has! Sully dug into his cake alongside cheers and encouragement from mom and dad.  I think I heard someone say "You can do it! Just stick your face into it!" at one point. Sadly, the Bartkowiaks moved to Alaska a couple weeks ago.
